Our History

Complete Building & Alterations, LLC was founded by Charles Lindsey in 2015. Since then, we’ve been providing dedicated service to homeowners, property investors and commercial businesses throughout the Charlotte area. 


Charles first started out in the construction industry as a bricklayer at the age of 18. Following his passion for infrastructure and land development, he worked his way up the ladder and continued to build experience, training under job site foremen, superintendents, developers and investors over the years. He eventually gained his license as a residential maintenance and alteration contractor in the state of Michigan. 


After initially breaking ground in Michigan, Complete Building & Alterations, LLC relocated to Charlotte, North Carolina in 2017. We officially received our unlimited building and contractors license in 2022 and have since established a broad network of industry partners.


Today, our mission and vision remain the same: to pursue a passion for high-quality construction and create custom solutions for our clients. Safety, code compliance and quality are at the heart of everything we do.
